Conception SINUS-COSINUS®

SINUS-COSINUS®  conception is the solution which eliminates load transfer realized by dowels. Load transfer is realized by floor itself..

Thanks to the SINUS-COSINUS® geometrical shaped form of the joint and the concrete load transfer is not realized by the joint (with dowels)  but by the floor itself. Each sinus corrugation on top is opposed by a cosinus corrugation underneath. These crossed sinus corrugated steel plates shape small vertical steel concrete columns over each other. The load bearing of these columns defines the load bearing capacity of the complete floor. The loads are transferred simultaneously and proportionally throughout and over the floor by those vertical Concrete Columns shaped and supported by the Sinus-Cosinus  geometry.

 

This joint ensures continuous support of passing wheels which enables shock and vibration free crossings and creates smooth and noiseless load transfers.

COSINUS SLIDE® joint

 

COSINUS SLIDE® joint has combined the unique technology SINUS SLIDE® with conception SINUS-COSINUS®.

dylatacja-sinusoidalna-COSINUS-SLIDE COSINUS SLIDE® joints guarantee unprecedented level of comfort and no damage of the floor because cause of the damage (shocks caused by the wheels of the forklift when passing a joint) is eliminated This joint has also slighter joint construction which eliminates dowels and other elements responsible for load transfer and other heavy construction connections in jointed slabs. Slighter joint i also an cheaper joint!
CONSTRUCTION
COSINUS SLIDE® joint composed of two sinus-shaped steel profiles on top, each 5mm thick called “sinus top profiles” and two sisnus-shaped steel profiles on bottom, each 2mm thick called “cosinus top profiles”. sosinus-slide
Instead of traditional anchor studs the joint is fixed in the concrete by a special wreathed continuous rebar system over the total length of the joint and with connections top and bottom. A small steel plate in the middle prevents overflowing of the concrete.

Between cosinus profiles on the bottom there is an adjustable steel plate 1,5mm wide also with sinus form to fill up the space between joint and the ground. This steel plate makes one standard height suitable for floor with various thickness.

 

TECHNICAL DATA

Dylatacja COSINUS SLIDE® is used for heavy industry and high loads applications, profiles are fitted according to a layout plan with limited dimensions separating the various floor parts
