HC-DELTA SINUS SLIDE for connections is a sinusoidal expansion joint profile for connecting an existing floor with a new one

Expansion of the warehouse is always associated with the problem of connecting the existing, old floor to the new floor . The correctness of the connection of the old and the new industrial floor affects the durability of such a connection and combined floors as well as the comfort of use. First and foremost, is that expansion joints on floor connections must transfer loads from one slab plate to another. The profiles must prevent any vertical movement of the floors relative to each other enabling lateral movements of the slabs. The expansion joint must also compensate the shrinkage of the concrete in the newly poured floor and take over any movement of the panels relative to each other in the future. No less important is a comfortable passage through the connector, without any shocks or even the slightest vibrations. Therefore, it is extremely important to choose the right profile that will provide a comfortable solution.

The connection using the HC-Delta SINUS Slide^® connection profile is intended for plates exposed to heavy loads and heavy forklift traffic.

The profile has two rows of anchor pins welded at the top with a diameter of 10 and a length of 125 mm - one row on each side. There is only one row of anchor bolts at the bottom. The joint should be installed in the correct way, which means that the anchor pins at the bottom should be on the side of the new concrete slab.

In the lower part of the HC-Delta SINUS Slide expansion joints there are holes in both separating plates.

The opening from the side of the old floor is smaller so that you can screw this separating plate to the old concrete using screws. The opening from the side of the new floor is larger so as not to block the screw we tighten the second concrete separating plate and that the joint could open later.

It is recommended to use 10mm screws and fix them with a chemical anchor. It is also recommended to fill the space between the old slab and the profile with non-shrink mortar to eliminate the risk of cracking between the old slab and the small concrete slab. The shrinkage of the new concrete floor slab will open the expansion joint.

METODA ROZBUDOWY PRZY UZYCIU STANDARDOWEGO PROFILU DYLATACYJNEGO

Połączenie starej i nowej posadzki przemysłowej można wykonać również za pomocą standardowych profili COSINUS SLIDE^® lub HC-Delta Sinus Slide® wg poniższego schematu (na przykładnie dylatacji HC-Delta Sinus Slide®). Profile ustawia się w pewnej odległości od zakończenia istniejącej posadzki, równolegle do niej (po wyburzeniu ściany). Stalowe pręty zbrojeniowe muszą być przymocowane do istniejącej płyty i do ustawionego profilu. Stara pionowa część betonu musi byś starannie przygotowana (lub przycięta) i zagruntowana preparatem gwarantującym trwałe i mocne związanie ze świeżym betonem. Tym sposobem możemy uniknąć przygotowywania starej płyty za pomocą wykrawania części górnej warstwy betonu.
