HC-Mini Omega expansion profiles are specially designed for use in top layers, bonded to or debonded from the subbase, such as for example hollow core slabs and composite slabs, floors on floors, parking lots on roofs, as well as in small floors in buildings and private homes. HC-Mini Omega expansion profiles are available in steel with Magnelis coating, stainless steel and aluminum. Available in 2 x 2mm or for special order 2 x 3mm thickness, with heights 60, 80 and 100mm in 2m sections.

HC Mini-Omega is a joint profile with max. 100mm high, 2 x 2mm or for special order 2 x 3mm thick, equipped with a continuous load transfer system and welded anchors on both sides of the connector. The profiles are designed for lightly loaded floors made of concrete or screeds. Small expansion joints HC-MINI Omega are used as expansion joints and work joints for all types of upper layers, connected or not connected with the ground, for example on ceiling channel or composite slabs. Basically, the HC Mini-Omega expansion profiles are used in offices, public spaces, schools and other buildings with floors that are poured later .

The product allows movements of the floor transversally and parallel to the joint and separates different construction areas. HC-Mini Omega profiles are available in steel with Magnelis coatin, aluminum and stainless steel type 304.

Profiles are available in heights of 60, 80 and 100mm.
The height of the profile is usually chosen to be 10 to 20 mm below the total floor thickness.

Supply length: 2000 mm (+ 5 mm / -10 mm).

The side-mounted, T-shaped anchors feature a 6.8 mm hole to support and fix the profile. In addition, four of the anchorages per profile have an M8 threaded hole for onsite use of height adjustment screws.

The profile transfers loads across the joint. The joint and joint spacing must be arranged so that the maximum opening is 10 mm.

The Omega profiling is eccentric to the overall profile height. When installing the profile, always make sure that the higher vertical section of the profile points upwards. When pouring, ensure correct compaction of the concrete along the joint edges.

HC-Mini Omega with FOAM sealing strip

This special product is equipped with 2 pre-compressed 15 mm high foam sealing strips. It consists of an openpored sealing strip, type BG1, which is factory preassembled and compressed in the profile at the top and bottom. Its purpose is to close the open gap of the joint and to seal it. The tightness is achieved by compressing. An absolute tightness cannot be guaranteed. Due to the open-pore structure of the strip, concrete can adhere to the surface and restrict its functionality. We therefore recommend protecting the surface of the compression band during casting.
