After applying the silicate impregnate NOMEA HARD ONE with the so-called "Wet coating" achieves excellent penetration deep into the concrete. After it soaked into the concrete structure chemical reactions occur, during which the pores fill with free C-S-H gel. When adhering to all application recommendations, the NOMEA HARD ONE silicate impregnant creates a thin, sealed microlayer on the surface of ordinary concrete, preventing the appearance of efflorescence on the surface.
Silicate concrete curing for NOMEA HARD ONE
Silicate concrete curing for NOMEA HARD ONE
Silicate impregnate NOMEA HARD ONE is a water-dilutable preparation based on a combination of specially synthesized silicates and nanosilicates. It is intended for surface impregnation, which hardens, compacts and seals the porous structure of concrete on its surface. It is used for machine trowelling or grinding concrete floors. It has a very wide range of applications: from fresh surface with top hardened industrial floors, to old concrete, grinding surfaces or even paving stones. Supplied in 25-liter canisters or 1000-liter pallet containers. The product is ready for use and should not be diluted!
The product is intended for use:
- for fresh, faded concrete
- for fresh, hardened and smoothed concrete
- on old concrete
- for architectural concrete
- na betony drogowe
- for precast concrete
- on paving stones
Benefits of silicate impregnationNOMEA HARD ONE:
- Increased resistance to water, frost (even periodic) and defrosting.
- Reduction of surface dusting.
- Reduction of surface dirt.
- Improving the aesthetics of the floor.
- Facilitation of floor cleaning.
- Minimizing the growth of moss and algae.
- Improving the visual condition of the surface.
APLICATION
Substrate preparation
Before applying the product NOMEA HARD ONE to fresh concrete or freshly troweled surface-hardened concrete (after the last seizing of the hardening topping), all free and non-bound particles and impurities as well as all construction materials should be removed from the surface. and other.
Before applying NOMEA HARD ONE to old existing concrete, check its condition. The surface should be dry before application, without any oil pollution and no residue from old coatings. Depending on the type and degree of contamination and degradation, the surface should be vacuumed with an industrial vacuum cleaner, washed with a high-pressure cleaner, brushes, pads, and repaired and filled with any defects and damage. It is not necessary to sand the surface before application, unless the contractor deems it necessary. In case of uncertainty or need
checking, please perform a trial application.
It is recommended to apply the preparation at substrate and ambient temperatures within 10-25 ° C. Under these conditions, we achieve the highest work efficiency and maximum product performance.
Nakładanie
Apply a light layer of light excess using a low pressure sprayer on the concrete surface. In order to achieve maximum penetration, leave the preparation so that it can penetrate into the concrete structure (time of leaving depending on the ambient temperature from 20 minutes to 2 hours), and only before the gel phase of the preparation should remove the excessive amount of the product with a mop. After the surface has dried, we recommend polishing it with white pads. For concretes with a rough structure or porous concretes, we recommend applying a minimum of 2 layers of the product.
The second layer can be applied only after the first layer has completely dried. The technological break between single layer applications is about 1-4 hours depending on the temperature of the substrate and the environment.
